A CTD (Conductivity, Temperature, Depth) rosette is deployed in the Douglas Channel, British Columbia onboard the CCGS Ricker. The instrument is used to measure seawater properties and collect water samples to conduct a series of microcosm experiments looking at the biodegradation of diluted bitumen.
