Under this agreement, the Nunavik Marine Region Wildlife Board (NMRWB) is responsible for making wildlife management decisions. A Recovery Potential Assessment (RPA) process for the Eastern Hudson Bay and Ungava Bay beluga populations is underway to provide the scientific information and advice needed to meet the various requirements of the Species at Risk Act (SARA).
