Variation order 2024-007 for Greenland Halibut in Subarea 0
Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Arctic Region advises that Vessel Class B5 has been added to Item (1)(b) in the Atlantic Fishery Regulations, 1985 Groundfish Close Times schedule for the Greenland Halibut fishery in Division 0B.
For greater clarity, the Arctic Region GHL Subarea 0 Close Time Variation Order, 2023-011 which came into force on December 31, 2023 will be revoked and the new variation order Arctic Region GHL Subarea 0 Close Time Variation Order, 2024-007 comes into force on June 20, 2024 and remains in force until otherwise revoked (see Schedule XXIII Column III).
