Arctic Region Variation Order 2024-002
The Regional Director General of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada for the Arctic Region, pursuant to paragraph 43(1)(m) of the Fisheries Act and subsection 6 (1) of the Fishery (General) Regulations, hereby revokes Variation Order for the Closed Seasons and Quotas for Commercial Fishing in Certain Waters of Nunavut 2022-001 issued on February 15, 2022 and makes the annexed Order varying the closed seasons and quotas for commercial fishing in certain waters of Nunavut.

Short title
- This Order may be cited as the Arctic Region Variation Order for the close seasons and quotas for commercial fishing in certain waters of Nunavut 2024-002.
Variation
- The closed seasons and quotas for commercial fishing in certain waters of Nunavut as fixed by Schedule V (subsections 17, 18 and 19) of the Northwest Territories Fishery Regulations in Columns IV and V of each item in Schedule V of the Northwest Territories Fishery Regulations is hereby varied to that set out in Columns IV and V of that item in the Schedule attached to this Order.
Coming into force
- This Order shall come into force February 2, 2024 and remains in force until February 2, 2027.
