2017 Red Crab Fishery - NAFO Divisions 4WX and 5Z

The Maritimes Region Red Crab fishery occurs along the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia into the Bay of Fundy, in the areas that correspond to subdivisions 4WX and 5Z of the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO).

Dates of season (subject to change)

The Red Crab fishery operates year round, from January 1st – December 31st.

Total Allowable Catches

The 2017 TAC for the Red Crab fishery is 300t.
