2019 Sea Cucumber (Southwest New Brunswick)

The sea cucumber fishery in Southwest New Brunswick occurs in 2 separate fishing zones:

Zone 1 (“The Passages”):

A small, rectangular area at the mouth of Passamaquoddy Bay.

Zone 2 (“Outside Passages”):

An area along the coast, outside of the bay and around Campobello Island.

Dates of season (subject to change)

The 2019 sea cucumber fishery in Southwest New Brunswick operates from January 8th to March 31st.

Total allowable catches

• Zone 1: 500t 
• Zone 2: 360t
