Request for Proposals to transform the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation (FFMC)

The request for proposals (RFP) is the process through which interested parties are invited to submit a bid to acquire the FFMC. The RFP process will include three stages:

• Stage 1: Solicitation of Initial Letters of Intent – Fall/Winter 2024 to Spring 2025
• Stage 2: Solicitation of Final Letters of Intent – Spring to Summer 2025
• Stage 3: Closing – Fall 2025 to Winter 2026

The anticipated timelines for the RFP above may be subject to changes at any time and at DFO’s sole discretion and do not constitute or imply any commitment by DFO.

Applications are now open for eligible Indigenous organizations to apply for capacity funding to participate in the request for proposals process (November 4, 2024 to January 8, 2025).
