Canada's Oceans Now: Atlantic Ecosystems 2022 describes the current status and trends in Atlantic Canada's marine ecosystems up to the end of 2021. This report is based on key findings and summaries of the marine ecosystem's physical, chemical, and biological components detailed in the newest State of the Atlantic Ocean Synthesis Report. Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) scientists and colleagues from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) contributed peer-reviewed and published data from monitoring and research programs for this report.
