Standard Codes
These codes describe the accuracy to which measurements have been made. The list of parameters can be consulted in the Dictionary of Oceanographic Codes application. The quantities expressed in the Description column correspond to the units defined for each parameter (for instance, "Accuracy is greater than .2" means >0.2ºC when the code is used with parameter TEMP). Some code meanings depend on the parameter to which they apply.
