Science Industry Collaboration Hub

The Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) Science Industry Collaboration Hub serves as a single point of entry for industry organizations interested in exploring opportunities for collaboration on aquatic science projects.  

The Science Industry Collaboration Hub aims to provide a streamlined pathway to accelerate discussions on collaboration opportunities while ensuring that DFO Science collaborations are of mutual interest and benefit, that projects align with the DFO mandate and Government of Canada priorities, and that relevant policies and guidelines are respected to ensure that the Department and its collaborators are able to seize potential opportunities to advance joint science.

Industry organizations that would like to explore a collaborative opportunity are invited to contact the DFO Science Industry Collaboration Hub at Collaboration.Science@dfo-mpo.gc.ca to:

• discuss a potential collaborative science project or idea as well as potential funding opportunities
• get connected to DFO scientific experts relevant to a proposed project or idea
• receive information on policies and processes that guide collaborative research with DFO Science
