The annual statistical snapshot Canadian Fisheries Statistics (formerly entitled Annual Statistical Review of Canadian Fisheries) is an overview of the structure, evolution and value of the fishing industry in Canada and the place this industry occupies in Canada and in the world. This 2011 edition provides statistics for 2008 to 2011, inclusive.

Cost and Earnings Survey
- 2004 Costs and Earnings Survey, Atlantic Region
This report presents the Atlantic Region results of the 2004 Costs and Earnings Survey (C&E). The C&E was a voluntary survey that collected information on activities related to fishing operations, including vessel characteristics, fishing effort, fishing and other revenues, vessel acquisition costs, operating and maintenance expenses, other revenues and long-term debt position.

The following document, prepared in May 2012 by Economic Analysis and Statistics, Strategic Policy, presents the economic outlook for Canada's Atlantic fisheries in 2013. It includes forecasts of landed prices and a brief analysis for snow crab, lobster, shrimp and cod. The document also includes a summary of factors that may affect Canadian fisheries in 2013, as well as economic indicators for Canada's key markets.
