A/Regional Director General, Newfoundland and Labrador Region

Jackie Perry began her Public Service career at the Public Service Commission in Ottawa in 1989. Since then she has held a number of positions in DFO, some of which include Superintendent of Strategic and Operational Planning, Canadian Coast Guard; Regional Director, Human Resources; and Senior Manager, Resource Management; all of these in the Newfoundland and Labrador Region. In October 2008, she accepted the position of Director, Resource Management and Aboriginal Fisheries, followed by Regional Director, Strategic Services in July 2014; since 2015 Jackie has been the Regional Director, Fisheries Management and in January 2018, assumed the role of the Acting Regional Director General, Newfoundland and Labrador Region.
