Summary
An internal regional workshop was held on April 6, 2004 at Maurice Lamontagne Institute in Mont-Joli. The purpose of this workshop was the identification of biological and physical criteria for the definition of snow crab production areas in the Estuary and Northern Gulf of St-Lawrence. This meeting gathered thirteen participants from DFO Sciences and Fisheries management. This proceeding contains the essential parts of the presentations and discussions held and relate the main recommendations and conclusions that were presented during the review.
