Summary
A regional science peer review meeting was held May 15, 2006 at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute in Mont-Joli (Quebec Region). The purpose of this meeting was mainly to examine the results of a trawl survey conducted by industry for snow crab in Area 16. More than fifty participants attended the meeting, including representatives of DFO Science and Management and industry members. The summary contains the essence of the presentations and discussions and outlines the key recommendations and conclusions that were drawn up.
