Summary
A regional science peer review meeting was held January 29, 2004 at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute in Mont-Joli (Quebec Region). The purpose of this meeting was to assess Quebec inshore waters scallop stock following the 2003 fishing season. This meeting gathered about twenty participants from DFO Science and industry. The summary contains the essence of the presentations and discussions and outlines the key recommendations and conclusions that were drawn up.
