Context
Science advice on the identification of sensitive benthic areas, as defined by the Sensitive Benthic Area Policy, within the Head Harbour/ West Isles/Passage, the Wolves, and Modiolus Reefs ecologically and biologically significant areas (EBSAs) was requested by Maritimes DFO Resource Management.
Objectives
- Assess whether the Head Harbour/ West Isles/Passage, the Wolves, and Modiolus Reefs EBSAs are sensitive benthic areas, as defined by the Sensitive Benthic Area Policy, and if so,
- Delineate and provide coordinates for sensitive benthic areas within the Head Harbour/West Isles/Passages, the Wolves, and Modiolus Reefs EBSAs
