Context

The status of NAFO Subdivision 3Ps sea cucumber was last assessed in 2009. The current assessment is requested by Fisheries Management to provide the Minister with advice on the status of the stock in order to inform management decisions, and to provide the data that will be used to assist in the development of an Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP).

Objectives

• Assess the status of the sea cucumber resource in NAFO Division 3Ps.
