Context
The status of American Lobster (Homarus americanus) in Lobster Fishing Areas (LFAs) 3-14C was last assessed in 2016 (Fisheries and Oceans Canada [DFO] 2016). The present assessment of these stocks was requested by Resource Management to provide current information on the status of the resource and provide data that will be used to update the Integrated Fisheries Management Plan.
Objective
- Assessment of American Lobster in four regions: Northeast (LFA 3-6), Avalon (LFA 7-10), South Coast (LFA 11-12), and West Coast (LFA 13-14).
