Context

The status of Northern Shrimp (Pandalus borealis) and Striped Shrimp (Pandalus montagui) in the Eastern and Western Assessment Zones, and Striped Shrimp in Shrimp Fishing Area (SFA) 4, were assessed in 2019 (DFO 2019ab). Resource Management has requested the current update as the basis for harvest advice for the 2020/21 fishing season.

Objectives

The objectives are to review indicators for Northern Shrimp and Striped Shrimp in the Eastern and Western Assessment Zones, and Striped Shrimp in SFA 4 as follows:
